When TIME photographed French actress Marion Cotillard in the season’s best burgundy and mauve ensembles for the fall issue of Style&Design, we made sure that this precious minaudière was on set. The crystal-encrusted piece is totally charming and very ladylike—and fittingly designed by Nina Ricci, one of France’s most acclaimed fashion houses. It may be a little impractical due to its small size, but that is half the fun; the other half is pairing this clutch with the perfect dress for a classy evening out. We’re smitten.
