We’ve been following Serkan Sarier’s collection Brood since Spring 2011 when a fashion PR friend passed along his look book. We were impressed—Sarier had attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, the notable design school that counts Dries Van Noten and Martin Margiela among its graduates. For Spring 2013, he delivered a series of printed dresses, with standouts being his long column dresses with graphic prints dashed across the middle. Our favorite was this printed short dress with black lace peeking out at the collar. After many seasons of prints, Brood still offers a fresh take.
