The fashion designer (and girlfriend of Mick Jagger) has reportedly been tapped to design Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress, and if the rumor proves true, it’d be a surprising choice for a number of reasons. First of all, Scott isn’t a a designer typically associated with Jolie. The actress rarely makes public appearances in Scott, whose biggest celebrity fans include Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman and Christina Hendricks. But what makes the choice even more surprisingly is the fact that Jagger was reportedly in love with Jolie after the actress starred in a Rolling Stones music video in 1997. According to Christopher Andersen’s Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger, published earlier this summer, the rock star was “virtually sobbing” while trying convince Jolie to hang out and allegedly gifted her with a $5,000 pair of earrings.
