Adam Levine and Nicki Minaj are making another separate, yet similar step in the same artistic direction. The music stars-turned-reality T.V. show judges are partnering with Kmart and ShopYourWay.com, a social shopping platform line, to develop their own collections for Kmart’s stores and website this year.

The respective The Voice and American Idol judges will each have a clothing and accessories line later this year, solidifying their presence on the radio, on television and in fashion.

“We are thrilled to align Kmart and SHOP YOUR WAY with two of America’s superstars,” said Imran Jooma, executive vice president and president of Marketing & Online at Sears Holdings, in a press release. “We welcome Adam and Nicki into our world and look forward to capturing their energy and creativity on ShopYourWay.com and translating it into unique apparel, accessories and other merchandise.”

While we’ve already speculated on how much crazy Minaj will sew into her collection, Levine’s direction isn’t as discernible. Though he looks just as sharp in a tux as he does in a deep V-neck white t-shirt, he’s left a small trail of evidence for a rock-edged casual line. His first fashion venture, 222, included jeans, tees, and leather jackets. The Maroon 5 singer is also known for his sleeves of tattoos, flannels and jeans.

Levine shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming line in a press release announcing the new brands. “Partnering with SHOP YOUR WAY to develop this line was an exciting opportunity for me and I am really looking forward to diving into the process of designing an apparel and accessory collection,” he said.

Minaj echoed the sentiment and called out to her devoted fan base, saying, “I am so excited to work with this iconic, mass retailer and to bring affordable fashion to my beautiful barbz all across the U.S.”
