They defy the laws of age, gravity and sometimes good taste, but we can’t resist watching the pros take their place on the red carpet. From Naomi Watts to Jane Fonda, here are our picks for the good, the bad, and the disappointing women of a certain age.

TO be honest, I don't really care about looks, or what people think of them. Apparently, popular magazines and people do! So just in case you were curious, I've brought you a small list of what I found to be the most recurring "best and worst dressed" mentions for celebs. Here they are! Agree, or disagree? Do let me know. http://bit.ly/10gq6iJ
I don't get the taste of the author of this article - Jen's wearing a dress that's too young? I don't think so - the dress is beautiful and classy, and the only think I don't like is her hairdo - she should have had some kind of a nice bun. You say that Halle Berry looked good - I think that dress made her look as if she just came from the outer space or so, same with Naomi Watts - maybe those dresses were 'trendy' but really, really ugly - sorry.
Renee Zellweger, Naomi Watts, and Jennifer Garner -- all 40+ -- were the TOP 3 best dressed at the Oscars this year.
NO! You do not get to call Kristin Chenoweth a freaking Glee star! It's an insult to her talent and acheivement.
@TIME @TIMEStyle Jennifer Garner "Barney the dinosaur" Ouch! Yet so true. Great pictures and recap. Thanks for posting.
