You may remember the midriff baring body-conscious mini Julia Roberts famously wore when she played prostitute Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman. If you don’t, then you can expect to get a refresher.  Fashionista notes the dress is back, and it’s selling like hotcakes.

Despite a recent article in T Magazine declaring that the latest collection from Valentino has “wiped out a decade of slut style on the runways” and notable labels like The Row and Céline continuing to tout minimalist looks, the surge in popularity for the body-baring dress suggests that consumers are after something a bit more revealing for upcoming seasons.

If you’re hoping to get your hands on an all-black version of Roberts’s frock, think again.  The barely there little-black-dress by clothing brand Tripp NYC is already sold out at retailers like Urban Outfitters, ASOS and Nasty Gal.

And the dress is getting even more publicity thanks to Emma Watson. The former-Harry Potter star, who played bookish Hermione, dons a similar dress on the May 2013 cover of British GQ to promote her upcoming film The Bling Ring.

But Fashionista pointed out that the Pretty Woman-inspired dress has made intermittent appearances since its debut in 1990. Most recently, Emma Roberts paid homage to the outfit her aunt made famous while out celebrating Halloween last year, and a pageant mom on Toddlers & Tiaras dressed her 3-year-old daughter in the outfit in 2011.

If the empty racks are any indication, it looks like we can expect to see a lot more flesh this spring despite T’s declaration that “baring it all looks increasingly like yesterday’s trend.”
