Oceanographic ship Deep Sea has found the aircraft of Vittorio Missoni, WWD reported Thursday, nearly five months after the fashion mogul’s plane went missing off the coast of Venezuela.

The plane had been carrying Missoni, his partner Maurizia Castiglioni, two friends and two crew members when it went missing Jan. 4 after taking off from Los Roques islands. It was found five days ago just north of Los Roques, but only identified as the missing plane today, according to a Missoni statement. Authorities are still trying to determine how to recover the plane, and there were no details released about its passengers.

Vittorio Missoni is head of the Italian fashion brand that bears his family’s name. Missoni was founded in 1953 by his parents Ottavio and Rosita Missoni and today boasts annual sales between $75 million and $100 million, according to ABC News.

In their statement, the Missoni, Castiglioni, Foresti and Scalvenzi families thanked both the Venezuelan and Italian governments for their “commitment” to the search. “[We have] faith the investigations will continue until the causes and the responsibilities of the accident will be ascertained,” they said.
