Allen Edmonds has made shoes for presidents, bankers (their most popular model is aptly named the ‘Park Avenue’) scores of interns and businessmen, but seldom, if ever, for style icons. That may be changing though, as Allen Edmonds has recently started releasing ‘webgem’ shoes, aimed at a younger crowd. Their sharpest is their Dalton boot made of cordovan—a tough and shiny horsehide. The boot stands somewhere between a country brogue and dress shoe—and somewhere very far away from Park Avenue.
Allen Edmonds Cordovan Dalton, $695.
