Beyoncé doesn’t need help to make the latest headlines, but the recent style stunt she pulled in Serbia has the Internet abuzz (see it here).

The “Single Ladies” singer kicked off the opening night of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Belgrade, wearing much-anticipated outfits by designers like Emilio Pucci, Julien Macdonald, Dsquared2 and Ralph & Russo, BET reported. But one particular look seems to have caught everyone off guard – like a deer in headlights.

In one of her many changes during the show, Beyoncé hit the stage in a fringe-lined gold bodysuit, complete with faux breasts and protruding nipples.  It was eye-catching, to say the least.  Her show-stopping number, which the Huffington Post noted put Madonna’s infamous Jean-Paul Gaultier cone bra to shame, was designed by The Blonds.

There’s been mixed reactions to the new face of H&M’s wardrobe choice.  But maybe Beyoncé’s wardrobe surprise should have been expected. The Cut pointed out that during the star’s Super Bowl performance, she ripped off her lace skirt and threw it into the audience.

But maybe Beyoncé’s jewel-encrusted costume is just the beginning of a new trend: fake breasts over real breasts.  The Cut noted that on Saturday night, Rebel Wilson had a “double nip slip,” while hosting the MTV Video Music Awards. The Australian funny-woman revealed a double-nippled fake breast worn over her real one during the show.

It’s uncertain whether clothes paying homage to the female anatomy will take hold, but one thing’s for sure: You can expect this isn’t the last time you’ll see Beyoncé’s nude torso – she finishes her tour on August 4 in Brooklyn.

The original version of this article misidentified the designer of Beyoncé’s gold leotard. It was designed by The Blonds, not Julien Macdonald.
