Gaga later told vegan talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that she didn’t intend to offend vegetarians or vegans with the raw dress, which was made with more than 50 pounds of meat. “It has many interpretations,” Gaga said. “If we don’t stand up for our rights soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones. And I am not a piece of meat.”
