Despite getting teased a ton for her “basic” entertaining advice in her debut book Celebrate, Britain’s famous party planner is writing again. Pippa Middleton’s latest publishing endeavor is a new column in Waitrose Kitchen, a monthly food magazine sold in Waitrose supermarkets throughout Britain. The column, “Pippa’s Friday Night Feasts,” will first appear in the magazine’s April edition (on sale March 28) and will feature “casual dining ideas and recipes,” according to editor William Sitwell, and “relaxed and easy entertaining ideas which will help with the preparation of all sorts of occasions.” We wonder: will one such occasion be a baby shower, for, say, her royal sister?
Here’s hoping Middleton will also share some of her cheeky commentary, which she introduced in a guest diary for The Spectator last Christmas. At the time, she responded to her Celebrate critics with the proposal of a sequel called “Bottoms Up.” We hope this writing venture is more successful for the younger Middleton sister. But if it’s another bust, she’ll at least have that sense of humor to get her through.
