Just like mason jars or old whiskey bottles, Dr. Hunter’s bottles are ones that will long outlast their contents. Understandably appropriate for historians or anyone with a penchant for the classics, this old-school hair wash and soap look just as they would have 200 years ago, before the word “shampoo” was even invented. The hair wash keeps a manly musk that we only imagine was the common trend back in that era, and the Castile soap, made with olive oil, feels pure, clean and from an era of genuine handmade manufacturing (though we’d bet things have changed a bit). In any case, you know their formula must really work. Because we don’t envy the guys of the 1800s, when such cleanliness regimens had to last a fortnight until one’s next bath.
