Organized by Delhi Heritage Walks, this walk takes you through one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. Mehrauli has been inhabited continuously for a thousand years and is home to everything from an ancient royal tomb to exquisite places of worship like the Jamali Kamali mosque and tomb complex, built by the Sufi saint poet Shaikh Fazlullah. The walk takes in these as well as more recent features, such as the Dilkusha cantonment, landscaped by Thomas Metcalfe, a British Resident to the Mughal Court in the late 19th century. Walks are led by expert guides and last about two hours.
