Glamour settled on good ole Jen Aniston for its September issue, and the cover look is utterly predictable: black dress, sparse accessories, perfect hair. But as much as we’re bored by the pick, we understand her universal appeal—Aniston consistently performs well on newsstands: She had InStyle’s highest-selling cover, at 793,588, in March 2012. Maybe it’s the constant buzz about a “secret wedding” to Justin Theroux that keeps her relevant, maybe it’s the baby rumors or maybe (but not likely) it’s her new movie We’re the Millers, but we think it’s actually her girl-next-door relatability. When asked what advice she would give herself in her thirties, Aniston responded: “Go to therapy. Clean up all of the sh*t. Clean up all of the toxins and the noise. Understand who you are. Educate yourself on the self.”
