Italian designer Miuccia Prada (L) poses with US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour during a press conference announcing the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' exhibition on Feb. 24, 2012 during the Women's fashion week in Milan.
Miuccia Prada, former Communist Party-member turned fashion designer, was one of the subjects of this year’s Costume Institute exhibition, “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations,” at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The accompanying gala is often described as the Oscars of the fashion world, and several of the industry’s most prominent stars, including Vogue editor in chief, Anna Wintour, wore a Prada design to the event.
