The house that designed Kate Middleton’s wedding gown continued to dress her regularly in 2012. As the 10th most searched person in the world according to Google’s list, it’s hard to imagine that one of Middleton’s favorite designers wouldn’t also make an appearance on the most-searched fashion list.

After John Galliano’s controversial departure from the company last year, the whole industry was buzzing about his replacement. Raf Simons was finally named the brand’s new artistic director in March, and his debut for Dior in July was the most anticipated runway show of the year. Plus, the company recently signed on Jennifer Lawrence to front its campaign. Between Simons and Lawrence’s star power, it’s tough to believe Dior didn’t make this list.
